More Cute Stories Vol 4: 1964/65 New York World’s Fair

Bamboo Forest Publishing is proud to announce the release of Disney Legend Rolly Crump’s More Cute Stories, Volume 4: 1964/65 New York World’s Fair. This high-quality recording includes sixty minutes of all new stories about Rolly’s involvement with the legendary “Billion-Dollar Fair”. It is available on CD and as a digital download from all major online music retailers, including Amazon and iTunes.

The Imagineers, those men and women who helped Walt Disney bring his creations to life, have achieved legendary status among theme park enthusiasts. And now, on the 50th anniversary of the 1964/65 New York World’s Fair, one of the most beloved Imagineers, Rolly Crump, sits down to ruminate on his time working on the attractions Disney built for the historic multinational exhibition. Rolly personally had a hand in creating, installing, and maintaining the Tower of the Four Winds, Progressland, Ford’s Magic Skyway, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and it’s a small world. From tender tales of touring New York City with his idol, Mary Blair, to scandalous stories of speeding cars and drunken Imagineers, Rolly tells us what it was really like to work on the “Billion-Dollar Fair”.

Jeff Heimbuch, who co-authored Rolly’s biography, It’s Kind of a Cute Story, also recorded More Cute Stories Volume 4. “Though I never had the chance to see it for myself,” said Jeff, “the 1964/65 New York World’s Fair has always fascinated me. Not only because of its cultural significance, but also for its ties to Walt Disney. Hearing Rolly talk about his time working on the projects for the Fair, along with what life was like at the Fair itself, is a real treat. I’ll never look at it the same way again.”

More Cute Stories, Vol 3 will be available on CD and digital formats including mp3 and FLAC at CDBaby, iTunes, Amazon, and most other major retailers.
